Palm tree Maintenance
Palm trees bring an exotic atmosphere to public and private spaces.
Sporadic, specialized maintenance is required through removing dry leaves and flowers.
Ideally their crowns should retain as many green leaves as possible, starting at the first green horizontal fronds.
We aim at keeping the husks on the trunk but removing all dry flowers.
When palms have their husks removed (bare trunk) and the leaves cut above 15º (horizontal plan)
the protection against water loss through evaporation is lost.
To compensate palms grow faster demanding more interventions, which make them weaker and susceptible to disease.
